FAMILY PASSION
With a strong passion for wine and great determination, father and son Gaspare and Davide Di Prima founded the company on the shores of Lake Arancio in 1999. Since then, the Di Prima family, despite their diverse interests, has worked hard to develop a shared project, a clear mission: to invest in transforming the grapes from their own vineyards into high-quality wines.

THREE TERRITORIES,
A SINGLE IDENTITY
The company's vineyards extend over a total of 38 hectares in the Sambuca di Sicilia area and are spread across three picturesque areas: the splendid Tenute di Pepita Roccarossa, covering a total of 27 hectares, located on a plateau 500 meters above sea level, surrounded by the Risicata forest; the 12 hectares of the Arancio vineyard border the eponymous reservoir; and the 3 hectares of Batia, at the foot of the Adragna district, at 400 meters above sea level, represent the original nucleus of the family.

A CHOICE OF AUTHENTICITY
Since 2019, Cantina Di Prima has been a member of FIVI – the Italian Federation of Independent Winemakers , an organization that brings together producers directly involved in the entire winemaking process, from vineyard to bottle. FIVI represents a viticulture founded on independent production , the responsibility of the winemaker, and the protection of the land .
For us, being FIVI Independent Winemakers means sharing these values and applying them every day in our work, directly overseeing the vineyards, the grapes, and the winemaking process in the cellar. We believe in wines that authentically convey the place from which they originate and the characteristics of each vintage. For us, being winemakers also means being custodians of the land , preserving its identity and its agricultural and landscape heritage .
A commitment we carry forward every day, respecting our land and the identity of our wines.
