The production of this Merlot is 70 quintals per ha, coming from a 100% Merlot variety , with the DOC Sicilia denomination . The wine was produced in 2020 in the town of Pepita , located at 520 meters above sea level. The harvest took place between 26 and 31 August. During maceration , the wine spent 18 days on the skins, followed by 6 months of aging in 225-liter oak barriques and a further 6 months in the bottle. The alcohol content is 14% vol.

The color of the wine is an impenetrable ruby red, while the smell presents sensations of Mediterranean fruit, berries and mulberries. On the palate , the Merlot is velvety with balanced tannins, making it a unique experience for tasters.

As for food pairings , this wine pairs perfectly with pork belly cbt, honey, cream of potatoes with saffron, onion in double consistency and mayonnaise. The optimal serving temperature is around 17-18°C, and the ideal glass for tasting is wide, to best enhance the aromas and flavors of this extraordinary Merlot .
