he production of this wine is 70 quintals per hectare, with vineyards located in Batia at an altitude of 420 meters above sea level and in Arancio at 320 meters above sea level. The harvest takes place from August 26 to 31, and maceration lasts for 18 days on the skins. The aging process continues for 2 months in the bottle, giving the wine an alcohol content of 14% by volume.
The color is a beautiful, clear ruby red, while the aroma offers sensations of Mediterranean fruits, strawberry, cherry, and rosehip. On the palate, a slight acidity is perceived, with a velvety body and well-balanced tannins.
This wine pairs perfectly with cappellacci filled with wild boar ragù, served with porcini mushroom and black truffle sauce. The optimal serving temperature is around 17-18°C, and the ideal tasting glass is a wide one.
